At the heart of our work is a belief that floristry can be both beautiful and thoughtful. We take a considered approach to how our flowers are designed, used, and cared for. We are always looking for ways to reduce waste, give back where possible, and make a positive impact beyond the moment they’re created for.

Responsible floristry is not about perfection. It’s about making intentional, considered choices, being transparent about what’s possible and in how we work, and striving to do better every day, finding practical ways to reduce waste while creating flowers that feel purposeful as well as beautiful.
The Repurposed Rose Initiative
Ever wondered what happens to your flowers after your event?

Wherever possible, flowers from events are given a second life, allowing them to continue bringing joy beyond their original use. By donating them to local hospices, shelters, and community spaces, they can be enjoyed for longer and shared with people who may not usually have flowers, offering comfort and a small moment of positivity. By keeping clients informed about where their donated flowers go, the feel-good impact spreads even further.

This initiative is available when we are clearing an event and forms part of our wider commitment to responsible floristry. Any flowers that cannot be repurposed, along with offcuts from preparation, are composted wherever possible.
Reducing Waste
We are mindful of the impact of our work on people, communities, and the environment. By planning arrangements carefully and prioritising seasonal flowers, we reduce unnecessary waste while still delivering beautiful, considered designs in Oxfordshire and the surrounding area.
Not all flowers can be repurposed, but we’re mindful of how we handle them. Flowers collected after events that can’t be donated, along with offcuts from conditioning and preparation, are locally composted. This helps ensure flowers are returned to the earth in a responsible way.

Every arrangement is designed with care, balancing creativity, practicality, and purpose. We plan for seasonality, placement, and the needs of the space, whether for a business, an event, or a personal occasion.

Rather than speaking in generalities, we focus on small, intentional actions: choosing the right flowers, repurposing what we can, and composting what cannot. These decisions may be small individually, but together they help reduce waste, support the environment, and ensure every arrangement is meaningful for clients and the community alike.
